All About Me
As an educator with a profound passion for learning, teaching is more than my profession—it is my calling. With 22 years of experience in public education, yes, that’s more than two decades. I have taught students from Kindergarten through third grade and have also served as an instructional coach, guiding educators in creating impactful, student-centered instruction. My dedication lies in creating enriching and effective learning environments that empower both students and teachers.
Outside of my professional life, I love running, cooking, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. I’m a fan of curling up with a good book, engaging in epic game nights, and belting out Dixie Chicks tunes like nobody’s listening. With a master’s degree in reading and literacy and a PhD in education, I am committed to collaborating with you to achieve our shared objectives and make a meaningful impact together.
